Health Problems, Phil Collins Can No Longer Play Drums
Musician and former Genesis drummer , Phil Collins recounts the health problems he suffered made him frustrated because he could no longer play drums.
In an interview with other Genesis members with BBC Breakfast, Phil Collins explained why his 20-year-old son, Nic, had been replaced on tour by the legendary band.

"I'm a bit physically challenged which is frustrating because I want to play there with my son," continued the man who is now 70 years old.
Reported ET , Thursday (9/9) United States time, when asked if he is currently still able to play drums even if only briefly, Phil Collins answered "no".
This problem then made Collins to be on the Genesis stage on vocals. He also implied that this Genesis tour might be his last.
"We're getting old, and I thought to extend it, I thought it was time to rest," Collins said. "Yeah, I think, for me, I don't know if I want to go around again,"
In March 2020, legacy band Genesis had confirmed they would reunite for a major UK tour, slated for late 2020.
Then in May 2021, Genesis announced it would tour in the United States. It was the first time after 14 years of absence
Genesis is one of the most successful and famous rock bands in the world. This British band was formed in 1967 with the initial formation of Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford.
In 1970 Phillips who served as guitarist decided to leave so his position was replaced by Phil Collins. Then Collins became vocalist when Gabriel left in 1975.
The band, which is known as a pioneer of the progressive rock genre, experienced a patchwork of personnel and was inactive several times, until finally leaving three personnel, namely Collins, Banks and Rutherford.
Throughout his musical career, Genesis has released 15 full-length albums and six live albums. They last released a full album in 1997 titled Calling All Stations and a live album in 2007 titled Live over Europe 2007.
